Universal Yoga Cross-Mat Mandala Vinyasa

2.5-Hours

Universal Yoga is a style of yoga based on the entirety of a human being. In traditional yoga, it is said that we consist of seven shells known as the Maya Koshas. Every Universal Yoga class is a mission to harmonize each of the layers that resides within us. While most lineages of yoga practice on one linear single yoga mat Universal Yoga attempts to expand the possibilities of asanas by layering two mats in the shape of a cross. This combination allows yogis to combine a variety of poses in order to influence more parts of the body to impact our physical and psychic energies.

Master Class: 6 months of yoga practice recommended.

Once-in-a-while: Universal Yoga- Single Mat

75-Minutes

Universal Yoga is well-known for its Mandala Classes: a set of two yoga mats placed in a cross that serves as a multi-dimensional space for physical and energetic practices. This class, however, is a shorter version on a single yoga mat. You will still experience the geometry of sequences through a complex of artful movements and postures in the front, middle and back side of your mat. The result is elegant connection from your body through your energy, to your emotional balance.

Recommended for students with 6 months experience.
